Oh, maxxmaxxmaxx. I wasn't referring to that at all...but I think you knew that. But just to be clear, I was referring to this:

And I'm not sure that adherents to religious amalgams can all be classified as fundamentalists; conversely, it seems that modern fundamentalists view religious amalgams as "inferior" belief systems.

But I digress. I'm not looking to play Parse-O-Rama with you. It's intellectual masturbation for the involved posters who are simply looking to be "right," and boring for the uninvolved posters who are simply looking for a cogent exploration of a topic. This isn't the appropriate forum for a semantic pissing match. And I'm not interested in you thinking I'm "right." It's irrelevant.

I will no longer engage with you for, well, so many reasons, not the least of which is your willfully skewed but revealing interpretation of what I meant by "tolerant." Come on now, maxx. You can't honestly think that the problem stems from you "asking questions." It's the accusatory, belittling, and downright hostile way you treat people when you're "asking questions." I've spent a great deal of time on this forum, and never have I seen a single person involved in so many locked or warned threads at one time. Never. It's your tone, not your content. And no one can debate a tone. Who'd want to?

Clearly, you believe that you're right, and everyone else is wrong. And, hey, if that works for you, have at it. Frankly, though, I'm not into that...so I'll leave you to it, and agree to disagree with you even if you choose not to extend me the same courtesy.

Oh, but one more thing...

The people on this forum respect, support, and look out for each other, maxx. We're family. And if you think we'll all stay silent while you personally attack our brothers and sisters with impunity, then you are wrong.

Common decency. That's all it takes.

Have a nice day.
