Meaning

In God, I find spiritual meaning in everyday life. Many tasks in daily life may seem mundane or even irritating, so I look for a deeper spiritual significance in each one. When I'm standing in line at a grocery store, running errands or waiting for a computer program to load, I look for the blessing in it. I may find myself giving thanks to God. I may have the opportunity to connect with another person. My attitude may transform an ordinary experience into a rich and rewarding blessing. I affirm "Thank You, God," anytime I find myself waiting. These delays turn downtime into an experience of awareness and meaning.

World Peace

Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me. When my attention turns to areas of conflict in the world, I may lose my own sense of peace or feel small and insignificant. Yet I've learned to take a broader perspective: Peace is truly the rule in the world, and conflict is the exception. Peace abounds as we all work together in cooperation. A new day is dawning in which we know we are children of God, whole and complete. Individually, and as nations, we are enough and we have enough. We live in a world of peace and plenty. As the world works together in cooperation, natural resources and abundant good will be available to all. I am filled with faith and hope for our world. I let there be peace on Earth, and I let it begin with me.

Harmony

Connected to Spirit, my life is in perfect harmony. Voices in harmony create a delicious blending, a beautiful sound. Hearing it brings pure joy. Conversely, when harmony is off, the imbalance is disturbing. It is that way in my life also. At times, I may get sidetracked, focusing on the ways in which my life appears to be flawed. In that frame of mind, I feel disconnected and discontented. But as I become aware of my disharmony, I can make adjustments. Just as musicians must listen carefully and bring their voices into alignment to create harmony, I, too, must listen in order to bring myself into alignment with Spirit. When I am in sync with God, harmony is the inspiring result. I am blessed and at peace.

Surprise

I am open to unexpected blessings. Life is filled with surprises, both big and small. They may come through an unexpected phone call from a friend, exciting news of a new opportunity, or a surprise invitation to an event. Each surprise bears its own gift and blessing. I am open to life's surprises and to the unforeseen treasures that come my way. As I become receptive, I release any expectations about how my life will unfold, for I know that God is in charge. The light and love of God fill me and those I care for, leading each of us along life's path. I look forward to the surprises that come my way. I may see some as treasures and some as challenges but I can be sure that each surprise blesses me and opens my life to unexpected good.

All Is Well

I release financial concerns. I am free, and I am prosperous. Letting go of financial worries and concerns is freeing. I ask myself an important question: "What really matters in my life right now?" The answer often reveals that love, fulfilling relationships, health and happiness are more important than any financial concerns. I acknowledge the prosperity already evident in my life. I open my mind and heart to the abundance that is already here. I have faith that any resources I need are on their way. I do my part to open the way for greater prosperity to manifest. I have everything I need today, tomorrow and always. The knowledge that I am one with Spirit and all is well frees me to live more abundantly.

Fulfilled

God is the source of all that fulfills me. I take a moment in quiet meditation to consider what truly fulfills me. In this ease, I breathe deeply and fully. Gently, a thought comes to mind. Perhaps it's about something I have postponed or resisted. Have I been holding on to a limiting thought of I can't...? Am I willing to transform my I can't into an I can? No matter what I want to accomplish, I never go through it alone. The spirit of God goes with me. Knowing this, I put my God-given intelligence and strength to use and do what is mine to do. Regardless of what is required mentally, physically or spiritually, I can accomplish it. I can because God, my constant companion and guide, is the source of all that fulfills me.

Let Go, Let God

I release my concerns and accept the good that is unfolding now. A rabbit might race round and round in a fenced yard, convinced there is no way out. Exhausted, the little creature finally pauses long enough to see the opening in the fence and find his freedom. At times my mind races round and round, too, seeking an answer by examining every detail of the problem. My freedom comes when I lift my thoughts above the situation and surrender to God. From this spiritual view, I gain a new understanding. I trust Spirit within me and take right action as I am guided. My faith in the constant and infinite supply of God assures me that my good can come to me through any situation. I accept and give thanks for the good that is unfolding now.

Centered in God

As I commune with God in prayer, I am filled with peace. I take a moment now to reconnect with God in prayer: Dear God, I center myself in Your serene presence. I feel the weight of stress lifting from my shoulders, for in You I release any issues that trouble me. I breathe easily now, feeling Your strength, Your love and Your peace, confident that only good is unfolding. Each breath renews my mind and body. Each breath draws me deeper into this prayerful experience as I feel my oneness with You expand. You are the very foundation of my life, and I build my dreams upon the rock of Your love. Success and fulfillment await me. Thank You, God, for Your ever-present help.

Grace

I gratefully accept every blessing of God's grace. Knowing that the grace of God supports me at all times, I am alert to life-enriching opportunities. I not only recognize good, I draw it to me. Encouraged to accept all that blesses me and to bless others, I do not set limits on my capabilities. I have the courage to do what may have seemed impossible in the past. As I act and speak from the inspiration of Spirit, I do my very best. Accepting the grace of God, I convey a confidence in my relationships with others. I am caring and compassionate, and I gratefully acknowledge these same qualities in others. Through prayer, I am immersed in spiritual understanding and open to divine ideas.
